Vintage Murano Italy Sommerso Cranberry & Clear Glass Vase 11.5" Tall

This is an exquisite piece of vintage decorative glass from the Italian island of Murano in the form of a tall abstract vase. The Sommerso method of glassmaking fuses layers of colored glass (in this case cranberry red) into clear glass. Depending on the thickness shades can range from pink to dark red. So beautiful when light shines through it. It is in excellent condition with no damage or flaws whatsover. The vase is quite thick and heavy weighing almost 3 lbs 13 oz. I will use quite a bit of packing material to help assure it arrives safely at it's destination, so shipping weight will likely be at least 5 pounds. The vase stands 11.5" tall x 7" wide x 3" deep at largest dimensions.
