This is The Spick & Span's second album from 1980.

The bass player changed from Hiroshi Isogawa to Kosuke Sakai, and the guitar player changed from Hirokazu Hiroki to Nobuhiro Takahashi. Shuichi Enomoto on saxophone and Shigeharu Mukai on trombone left the band, and Egberto Gismonti and Maria Vantelrei were guests on the album.

The first song, "SERRADO," is a work by Javan. The song features Nobuhiro Takahashi's guitar and Toshiyuki Ohdake's electric piano.

"TOMBO~MISTURADA," a number that probably many people have heard, is a work by Brazilian percussionist Airto Moreira. It was included in his album "Fingers" and is the original song of "Samba de Janeiro" (Airto probably earned a lot of royalties from this). The Spick & Span's performance becomes a samba-style performance halfway through.

"SAMBA EM BRANCO E PRETO" features Maria Vantelrei's vocals. It was composed by Yoshida and written by Maria.

"VALSA DE PORTO DAS CAIXAS" is a work by Antonio Carlos Jobim, and it's a solo piano piece by Ohdake.

The last song, "SALVADOR," is by Egberto, and Egberto performs on a 10-string guitar, piano, and vocals.
